Sweet, Potatoes

While this food is not a sweet potato (as much as it looks like one), it is definitely sweet and definitely a potato. It’s also one of the most difficult dishes to eat here, and not because it requires you to use chopsticks. No, what makes it difficult is that after your first bite, your teeth are stuck together in a caramelized mass of sugar and potato (something similar to the mold used by Orthodontists, but sweeter). With some patience, though, this is a pretty good dish. If only I knew what it was called…

    I do like it, because it appeals to my love for sweet things. I was just not expecting what happened when I tried to eat it :-)
