Mao Er Shan

Wow, it really is Autumn. On our campus, none of the few trees around have started to change colors yet, and I’m not sure if they will or if they will just fall off. Over our National Day holiday, we went to nearby Mao Er Shan. From what I’ve heard, this translates (very) loosely as “Little hat mountain”. It was our first time outside the big city in China, and we got to see a little bit of small village life. The scenery was amazing, but unfortunately there was quite a bit of litter scattered along the way (hence the toilet paper behind the chipmunk, below). More pictures are in the photo gallery.

    The picture of you two on top of the mountain, looks like you’re on the edge of that mountain! Very brave…
